Brighton and Hove Albion have confirmed the appointment of Fabian Hürzeler as their new manager.
The 31-year-old was most recently in charge of German side FC St. Pauli, who were promoted to the Bundesliga at the end of the 2023/24 season under his tutelage.
Former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi left the Seagulls at the end of last season after two years in charge at the American Express Stadium.

“After speaking to Tony Bloom, Paul Barber, and David Weir it was clear they are highly ambitious. Brighton have a unique history and a bold vision for the future so I am truly excited to be part of the project.
“I am relishing the opportunity to coach in the Premier League, and I can’t wait to meet the players, staff and, of course, the fans,” he said.
The appointment sees Hürzeler become the youngest ever permanent Premier League manager.
