Everton have secured the services of Inma Gabarro, with the Spaniard coming as Brian Sorensen’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old previously played for Sevilla in Liga F, making the move to the Women’s Super League upon the expiration of her contract. The Toffees recently reported the signing of Toni Payne, also departing Sevilla this summer to sign for the Merseyside-based club.
Gabarro is a FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup winner, having finished as the Golden Boot winner when la Roja claimed victory in Costa Rica two years ago – and her senior international campaign got off to a flying start too, as she came off the bench to score against Argentina on her debut.
Everton describe the player as ‘capable of playing across the front line as well as in midfield.’
Speaking to evertontv, Gabarro said: “It’s my first time here in the English league and I’m really looking forward to coming here.”

“Being here is going to help me make a leap in quality, especially physically, and that is obviously going to help me to reach the highest level and that is why I opted for Everton.”
Brian Sorensen commented that “Inma is an incredible talent and I’m delighted that she has chosen to sign for us.”
“We’ve shown in the past that we can develop players, give them opportunities and trust them. That was one of the key points I made to Inma: we will give her that confidence to express herself. I believe here at Everton we can make her exceptional.”
Everton open their 2024/25 Women’s Super League campaign with a trip to Brighton on the weekend of 21/22 September.
