England v Cymru to be shown on ITV as broadcasters confirm Euro 2025 TV picks

With every match of UEFA Euro 2025 set to be shown live in the United Kingdom, the BBC and ITV have revealed their television picks ahead of what is set to be a fantastic tournament staged in Switzerland between 2-27 July.

Finland will get the competition underway when they face Iceland in Thun at 17:00 UK on ITV, before the tournament hosts feature on the BBC when they welcome two-time champions Norway to Basel’s St-Jakob Park three hours later.

England will be looking to defend their European title next summer whilst neighbours Cymru make their major tournament bow following a fairytale playoff victory over the Republic of Ireland in Dublin earlier this month.

The pair have been drawn together in Group D, and their meeting in St Gallen at 20:00 UK on July 13 will be broadcast live on ITV. The BBC will host both England and Wales’ meetings with the Netherlands, while ITV will take charge of their respective clashes with France.

Alex Kay-Jelski, the Director of BBC Sport, commented: “The summer of 2025 is shaping up to be a huge celebration of women’s sport as we bring audiences the Women’s Euros, the Women’s Rugby World Cup and the World Athletics Championships.”

ITV’s Niall Sloane added that the broadcaster “looks forward to bringing the nation together for reigning champion England’s opening match of the tournament and again for an historic home nations clash between England and Wales.”

As usual, the final will be shown on both the BBC and ITV.
