Speaking to Amazon Prime after Liverpool’s 3-1 comeback victory against Leicester City, Mo Salah suggested that the Reds need to “stay humble” and not get distracted by their sizeable lead in the Premier League table.
Victory at a foggy Anfield saw Liverpool move 7 points clear at the top of the table, despite suffering an early scare when Jordan Ayew bundled home with just six minutes on the matchday clock.
Salah told Amazon Prime that he felt the victory was “a good result to be fair,” and explained that when Liverpool were trailing, “you just need to focus on the equaliser, and after [you get] that, score the second one.”

Curtis Jones handed Liverpool the lead early in the second half, before Salah wrapped up proceedings inside the final ten minutes with his 100th Premier League goal.
“It’s something I’m very proud of,” the Egyptian revealed, “[but] I hope I can go further.”
Despite a comfortable lead at Christmas, Liverpool have been in this position before and faltered – but Salah insists that “it feels different” this time around, insisting that “the most important thing is we stay humble,” and adding that “hopefully we carry on with no injuries.”
Gakpo added that “we can’t deny we’re in a good place,” but stressed that “we had one or two moments where we were sloppy […] so we have to improve on that.”
