Eintracht Frankfurt have announced that captain Kevin Trapp will remain sidelined with a calf injury that has kept him off the pitch since March 9th.

In his absence, backup goalkeeper, 21-year-old Brazilian Kauã Santos, has stepped up in his absence and has produced some impressive performances.
In Frankfurt’s last four games, Kauã has kept one clean sheet and won three games, leading to him winning man of the match against VFL Bochum.

Despite this, Frankfurt expect Trapp to return for the fixture on home soil on the 17th of April.
