Arsenal to face Wolfsburg in UWCL Semifinals

Jonas Eidevall’s Arsenal side are set to face VfL Wolfsburg in the Semifinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League. Despite losing the first leg at the Allianz Arena, Arsenal were able to produce a sensational performance at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, with goals from Frida Maanum and Stina Blackstenius securing progression to the final four.

Wolfsburg won the away leg of their tie against Paris Saint-Germain 1-0, but were held to a 1-1 draw in Germany – though that was still enough for Tommy Stroot’s side, who can now look forward to a clash with Arsenal. The first leg of the tie will be held on 1st May, when Arsenal welcome their German opponents to the Emirates Stadium. Tickets are available now from arsenal.com, starting at £4.50.
