UWCL PREVIEW: Barça Femení v VfL Wolfsburg Team News, Predicted Lineups and Where to Watch

Barça Femení and VfL Wolfsburg Frauen are set to meet at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven on Saturday, as both sides look to compete for the UEFA Women’s Champions League trophy. Both sides have won the tournament before – with Barcelona’s maiden win coming as recently as 2020/21, when they defeated Chelsea 4-0 in Sweden. Despite having lifted the trophy just once, they’ve established themselves as fierce contenders, reaching the final four times in the last five years.

VfL Wolfsburg haven’t won the competition in nine years – partly due to the dominance of Olympique Lyonnais, who have won six of the last seven finals. Both sides have had to overcome incredibly tough teams to reach this stage, including Arsenal and Chelsea, who were both eliminated in the semifinals.

When asked about the players that are available for VfL Wolfsburg, Tommy Street simply replied that ‘all of the players are fit and ready. We have all options available, so that’s quite special.
