West Ham in talks to sign Danny Ings

Aston Villa’s Danny Ings is reportedly close to a £12m move that would see the striker ply his trade at the London Stadium. With David Moyes’ side only netting fifteen times so far this campaign, it is undeniable that Moyes needs to bolster his front line with strong reinforcements, and it’s looking like Danny Ings is his weapon of choice.

Ings has scored seven times this season in 21 appearances for Aston Villa – including six in the Premier League. The English forward hasn’t started for Villa since the World Cup halted the domestic campaign, so a move to the capital city could be what the 30-year-old needs to reignite his career.

West Ham haven’t won a game since October 9th, and they find themselves in the relegation zone with half of their games now played. Moyes and his squad will be desperately hoping that this deal goes ahead, else the Hammers face the very real possibility of Championship football next season.
