Three-time Champions League winner Keylor Navas has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season. The Costa Rican goalkeeper has failed to make an appearance for PSG this season, and has been dropped to the bench in favour of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Last season, Navas played a fundamental role in PSG’s Ligue 1 victory. Before moving to the French capital in 2019, he spent five seasons at Real Madrid, where he lifted the Champions League trophy in three successive campaigns, leading to him being named as CONCACAF’s Goalkeeper of the Decade.
The signing is set to add depth to Steve Cooper’s Forest side, who sit 14th in the league – 4 points above the relegation zone. The side have conceded 35 goals so far this campaign, and fans will be hoping that Navas can turn out consistent performances between the sticks to help them maintain their Premier League status.
