Super second half sees City ease past Foxes in WSL

Manchester City scored two sensational second-half goals to edge past today’s rivals, Leicester City. Khadija Shaw and Chloe Kelly found themselves on the score sheet, but Leicester City boss Willie Kirk was full of praise for his goalkeeper, Janina Leitzig – who has signed for the Foxes on loan from Bayern Munich.

Kirk cited a ‘fantastic transfer window’ that he feels was ‘probably one of the best in the league’ – with the club bringing in Leitzig, Eaton-Collins, Nevin, Mace and Siemsen. He feels that the new additions have given the team the depth in quality that they need to progress up the WSL table.
